The poet Emerson says that the best part of friendship is not simply
being together, but the strength in discovering that someone believes in
you and is willing to trust you. Friendships are a basic part of life. You
can have a wide variety of friends, all of whom offer something different
and unique that makes them special to you. Having a number of friends is
like opening the window on a warm day. You too must realize the value in
each of your friends for their own special gifts and the characteristics
that they bring out in you. Friendships are indeed a gift from God.
| UPCOMING EVENTS |
Beginning January 6, 2008 Yahweh’s Youth will be meeting immediately after the 11:00 mass for an
hour and a half. A light lunch will be provided. To make sure I have enough food for everyone, please
email me by Thursday who will be at the meeting. I am making this change for a few reasons. Many
of the teens are at the 11:00 mass, it would save them driving back to church later in the evening.
The second reason for the change is to avoid night time driving during the winter. We know how slick
and icy the roads can get. I don’t want any of the teens to be unsafe. The final reason for the
change is to give you more family time on Sunday. Any questions…please contact Ann Meyers
