LITURGY OF THE WORD FOR CHILDREN

A volunteer teacher leads the children (grades K-5) from the Church
to the parish center for lessons and discussion
on the first reading and the Gospel.
Adult Formation

A variety of adult formation experiences are offered to enhance,
nurture and deepen the faith of our parishioners. Among these
are: prayer and faith sharing experiences,  workshops on
various themes or topics, retreats, and courses including  
Scripture Studies. For further information, watch the Parish
Bulletin, or contact the Parish Office at 248- 852-4170.
RCIA

RCIA or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the way that
those interested in the Catholic Church learn about the faith and
join our family of believers. It is also the process which enables
Adult Catholics who are not confirmed to become fully initiated
Catholics. Please call Ann Thomas, Pastoral Associate, (248)
852-4170, for more information. Tuesdays at 7:00 PM we will be
meeting.
Religious education for children is held in the school on
Monday evening. You must pre-register your children by
calling the Religious Education office
RCIC

This program, an adaptation of the RCIA, is designed for
children age 7 or older who have missed receiving sacraments
at the usual age of reception. Call the Religious Education
office for more information.
Vacation Bible School

This is a fun filled, week-long, Christian summer program
for children from kindergarten through fifth grade. Adult
and older youth volunteers are always needed. Watch the
bulletin for more information.
FIRST EUCHARIST AND RECONCILIATION

Second-graders prepare for these two sacraments under the
instruction of the Catechists, and the Director of Religious Education.
There are five meetings throughout the year for the parents.
CONFIRMATION

Middle school students in seventh and eighth grade attend weekly
Religious Education classes.  Seventh graders participate in a day
retreat at Subiaco. In eighth grade the students have an overnight
retreat at Marianhill. There are five parent meetings throughout the
eight grade year. Students are confirmed in the spring of their
ninth-grade year. Confirmation sessions are held on Sunday mornings
for approximately an hour and fifteen minutes.  Parents and sponsors
attend the session. For more information please contact the Religious
